SERIES 2

Episode 1
02X01-Checkout.
After Gary, Jacko, Charlie and Adam complete their latest tour of duty in Afghanistan and arrive at the aircraft hangar ready to go home, they find out that their flight has already left. Faced with waiting in a hot, cramped hangar, Gary decides to try and bribe his way onto another flight using a paltry selection of tokens from his friends.

Episode 2
02x02-Tank Goodness.
While transporting a tank back to the barracks, the boys defy orders by stopping off at a service station for a bit of breakfast. Charlie is so worried that Sergeant Thomson will be angry that the boys decide to add to his anxiety by hiding the tank from him. This sparks off a chain of events that sees Gary having to call in all sorts of favours in order to stay one step ahead of Thomson, something that becomes increasingly difficult when Julie gets involved.

Episode 3
02x03 - Too Many Chefs
Following a prank gone wrong, Sergeant Thomson punishes Gary and the boys by putting them on kitchen duty for an important dinner for the Captain. Chef works hard to keep them under control while trying to create a dinner good enough to impress Colonel Fanshaw, the Captain's father. But when an inebriated Thomson returns to wreak havoc in the kitchen, Gary must ensure that the dinner is a success.

Episode 4
02x04-Mum's the Word.
15 years after her passing, Gary's dad decides that it is finally time to scatter his late wife's ashes and selects her favourite beauty spot as the site. However, Gary, his dad, Julie and Gary's aunt Margaret are dismayed to find that the area has changed considerably in the intervening years. But when Gary tries to come up with a back-up plan, he manages to both annoy his aunt and offend his father.

Episode 5
02x05-Climate Control.
While patrolling the perimeter at a climate conference, Gary and his team apprehend a family of protesters dressed as rabbits. Sergeant Thomson insists that they be delivered to the police at a far away checkpoint, but as they travel with their prisoners, Gary finds the costumes having an emotional effect on him.

Episode 6
02x06-Star Wars.
Gary senses a shot at fame when he signs himself, Adam, Jacko and Charlie up for an army advertising campaign. But when Jacko and Adam take dramatic licence too far during rehearsals and come to blows, Gary must play peacemaker in order to be in with a chance of giving a successful audition.
